In reference to the post on the Paramotor Facebook group about the skis for my trike, I had a lot of people message me (or try) asking how I made them. Below are the details.

6 x 2 x 1/4 wall 6061-T6 Aluminum Rectangle Tube

1 OD x .188 wall x .624 ID 6061 Aluminum Round Tube

Stainless Steel U Bolt - 1/4" x 1 3/4"

Shock Cord 3/16 inch - SGT KNOTS - Marine Grade Dacron Polyester Bungee

7mm and 10mm SS bolts and nylock nuts

Cut the 6x2 rectangular tubing into three 8 inch pieces.
Cut three 1.875 inch long pieces from the round tube.
Set each rectangular tube into the skis and transfer hole centers to the aluminum (I used center punches)
Drill 7mm and 10mm holes in the rect tube to match the skis
On the top of the rect tube, locate the center lengthwise and drill 1/4 inch holes equidistant each way for two sets of u-bolts
Assemble the round tube to the rect tube making sure the it stays perpendicular with the rect tube (I used u-bolts instead of welding so I could replace if necessary)
Paint everything your preferred color
Bolt the painted product to the skis
Affix shock cord and biners as needed with the hog rings and pliers
The round tube I ordered fit unexpectedly perfect over the axles on my trike. Nonetheless, I still ran a reamer through it to make sure it was smooth and clean.
Someone noted on the FB group to make sure your bungees give enough tension to prevent the skis from oscillating during flight.
