Hi everyone. Do many people fly in the winter? I'm trying to justify time and money for something I might not be able to do 5 months out of the year. I live in Iowa. It's pretty cold here in the winter. If people fly in the winter, how cold do you fly in?

I fly in the winter, I live in Missouri. If you dress warm, you'll be fine down to probably 30 degrees. If you buy special clothing, you could probably go to 20. 25 is pretty much my limit, Where do you live Chris?

I live in South Dakota. I wear milwaukee heated gloves, snowmobile boots, snow pants, a heavy jacket, and a facemask under my helmet. I stay warm enough for an hour flight in 25 deg weather.

I've been flying this winter. I too have heater gloved (Power in Motion) and lots of warm weather gear. The coldest I've flown thus far is 28 degrees. I stayed mostly warm, feet got a little cold.

50's. Aw man, shut yo mouth! I'm in Ohio and I fly with two layers of gloves but neither are heated. I think the layers make the most difference.
